Dr. Taryne Mingo Named NCSCA Southwest Region 6 Vice President

Dr. Taryne Mingo has been selected as the North Carolina School Counselor Association’s (NCSCA) Southwest Region 6 Vice President. She is currently an Assistant Professor at UNCC and serves as Director of the School Counseling program and Director for school placements. In spring 2020, she was selected as one of four NCSCA Emerging Leaders. She was also awarded NCSCA’s 2020 Educator of the Year award. In summer 2021, she served as NCSCA’s Member Services Chair and currently maintains this role alongside her new position as Southwest Vice-President.
