Dr. Taryne Mingo Selected in New Gambrell Faculty Fellows Cohort

Dr. Taryne Mingo, along with Dr. Tabitha Haynes of UNCC’s Department of Counseling, have been selected as researchers within the fourth cohort of Gambrell Faculty Fellows. Dr. Mingo and Dr. Haynes’ project, focusing on how Black women business owners have coped with the stresses of the pandemic, is among the four projects selected for funding. Their project will help illuminate the way to a more equitable community and promote greater socioeconomic mobility in the Charlotte region.
