Sheree Harper Selected as a Recipient of the APA Interdisciplinary Minority Fellowship
Sheree Harper was selected to join the APA Interdisciplinary Minority Fellowship Program (IMFP) as a doctoral fellow! Through this fellowship, Sheree will receive up to a $23,000 stipend for one year, with the possibility of renewing the fellowship for up to one additional year. In addition to stipend support, Fellows receive training, professional development, mentoring, and lifetime access to our network of Fellows. The IMFP Fellowship is awarded through a federal grant to APA from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Department of Health and Human Services. It is uniquely tailored to provide our Fellows with support and training beyond what is offered by most fellowship programs and other institutions. Fellows commit to working for a period of two years in a capacity that addresses the behavioral health needs of racial and ethnic minority populations.
USCC congratulates Sheree on this competitive and prestigious award!
