UNC Charlotte Alumna and USCC member, Dr. Maylee Vazquez, was selected as a 2023 Latinx Fellow through LatinxEd! The mission of LatinxEd is to call upon their community to reimagine culturally sustaining education systems that truly recognize, meet, and honor the diverse needs of Latinx immigrant families.

The LatinxEd Fellowship is a statewide network providing leadership development to Latinx leaders seeking to advance education and opportunity in North Carolina.
